This Year will feature many new never before seen LEGO creations including Iconic recreations of from The Lord of the Rings. including Orthanac (Isengard Tower, Helm’s Deep, and the Shire. A first ever appearance of the Bat Cave in LEGO City, A newly remodeled Space Scene and much more so Join us at the Ophir and Tintic Western Railroad show at the thanksgiving point barn:

The Great Train Expo is coming to Salt Lake City this week, and ULUG will be there to with the LEGO. If you’ve not seen the LEGO layout this year, this will be your last chance. if you have you can expect some changes. But if you wait till next year it will be all different. nothing will be the same.

The Annual Hostler’s Train show was great!!!
As a club we got some great press from the Likes of KSL’s Doug Wright who on Air said that
the best part of the Show is the Lego display…every year they add something new. This year there’s Plexi glass so the kids can get right up to [the LEGO]“
We couldn’t agree more. This show featured Travis Levi Murphy’s Wizard of Oz Diorama, as the newest addition to the layout. and it was impressive. Click on the Image above to check out pics of it or some of the other sections of the layout.

This Year, The World’s Greatest Hobby on Tour is Coming to Utah. And it promises some great excitement, and fun for the whole family.
The Show will have an indoor ride on Thomas Train, Model Railroads from many local railroading clubs, Trains that both adults and kids can control, and Coming in at 20′ x 30′, Utah’s Largest (and to my knowledge only Public Lego Train display) . So whether you want to see our Lego display again, or are looking for something to do with the kids this weekend, the World’s Greatest Hobby on Tour promises to be a great time for one and all.

Adults: $10.00 (good for both days)
Kids Under 16: FREE! (must be accompanied by a parent)
